INVENTIF – Nominasi Emmy Awards 2024 telah diungkap ke publik pada Rabu (17/7/2024). Sebuah pencapaian besar diraih Shogun, serial dari FX, yang meraih 25 nominasi dalam perhelatan prestisius untuk industri televisi ini.
Dilansir dari The Hollywood Reporter, Shogun tak hanya menjadi serial yang meraih nominasi terbanyak dalam Emmy Awards 2024. Serial yang dibintangi oleh Anna Sawai dan Hiroyuki Sanada ini juga memecahkan sejumlah catatan penting.
The Holywood Reporter mencatat semua pemain Jepang Shogun adalah penerima nominasi pertama dalam penghargaan ini. Sebaliknya hampir seluruh kategori yang diraih Shogun, untuk pertama kalinya menominasikan orang Jepang.
Sebelumnya, hanya ada satu aktor Jepang yakni Masi Oka, yang pernah dinominaikan dalam kategori Aktor Terbaik pada 2007 lewat serial Hero.
